Don’t read music? Don’t understand chords and scales? Watch this video and I’ll explain the basics of music theory in under 6 minutes!
at 4:10, the triangled chord (the seven chord) isn’t major or minor. It’s called diminished. It’s kinda rare so I didn’t mention it in this video.

Disclaimer: for the sake of simplicity, I generalize rules and explanations that aren’t actual ‘rules’ or true 100% of the time. Music technically doesn’t have rules so everything is a general guideline.

Very well done video, Man!! i think this is the big revelation for those who been playing songs or just improvising and playing randomly notes on the guitar, or wichever instrument you play, and trying to find which one sound nice, the fact that we use mostly in all music only 7 notes of the twelve that exist, and we use the pattern or scheme of the Major Or Minor Scale to build the music that we people in the occidental world hear.
